HONEST ASSESSMENT • FAITHFUL REBUILDING
The Nehemiah Plan surrounds an eligible Christian school with experienced counsel, appropriate technology, practical resources, grant-development assistance, and a committed school partner. It is designed for schools with genuine need, a meaningful mission, and leaders willing to confront difficult realities and do the work of rebuilding.
A COOPERATIVE COMMITMENT
Donates the approved professional service hours required by each written engagement scope: assessment, strategy, leadership guidance, grant readiness, and implementation support.
Contributes approved technology, implementation assistance, training, operating resources, and solutions aligned with the school’s rebuilding priorities.
Provides truthful information, consistent participation, accountable leadership, implementation effort, and financial participation according to its ability.
Offers mentoring, professional development, staff collaboration, materials, equipment, direct school-to-school support, and a relationship that can continue beyond the formal year.
ONE YEAR • FLEXIBLE PATHWAY
The stages may overlap and their timing will reflect the school’s evidence, urgency, and capacity. The formal work is completed within twelve months.
Leadership, board, and teacher conversations establish the school’s actual condition, immediate risks, mission, and readiness to rebuild.
Evidence across enrollment, finance, governance, academics, culture, technology, and operations becomes three to five consequential priorities.
The school addresses urgent enrollment, cash-flow, leadership, staffing, family-retention, communication, and operational pressures.
Arete counsel, CROWN systems, faculty development, grant readiness, and partner-school support strengthen the school’s operating foundation.
Responsibility moves to school leaders and the long-term mentoring relationship, supported by a continuation plan and final sustainability review.

Virtual meetings are built into every engagement so recommendations remain connected to the people responsible for carrying them out.
Progress, evidence, decisions, accountability, and emerging risks.

GRANTS BELONG TO THE SCHOOL
Arete may help identify aligned opportunities, organize a grant-readiness library, develop budgets and outcomes, strengthen narratives, review applications, and prepare reporting systems. The school remains the applicant, recipient, decision-maker, and accountable steward. Funding is never guaranteed.
A RELATIONSHIP THAT CAN LAST
A healthy Christian-school partner may provide mentoring, staff collaboration, professional development, equipment, materials, direct financial support, and shared expertise. The voluntary relationship can continue after Arete and CROWN complete the one-year engagement.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP
Approved Arete professional services and CROWN resources are provided within a written scope. Participating schools are encouraged to contribute according to their ability and ordinarily cover preapproved on-site travel and direct expenses. Financial inability alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible school.
