Enrollment pressure and empty seats
Cedar Valley Christian School is a fictional K–12 school with 180 students and room for 225. Its mock admissions records show 60 inquiries, 24 campus visits, and 12 new enrollments during one recruiting cycle. Leaders see empty seats in several grades but lack a consistent way to follow up with interested families. The school uses Arete’s free assessment to identify where enrollment opportunities are being lost.
In this sample engagement, Arete reviews grade-level capacity, family feedback, retention patterns, and the admissions funnel with school leadership. The proposed work includes a shared inquiry log, a campus-visit checklist, and a 90-day enrollment plan with assigned responsibilities. Cedar Valley then selects annual advisory membership for an initial Zoom review and quarterly Zoom conversations to monitor progress; any additional implementation work would be separately scoped.
For illustration, the next mock recruiting cycle records 60 inquiries, 30 visits, and 18 new enrollments. Those example figures show how leaders could compare follow-up and conversion over time while also checking retention, student fit, staffing capacity, and net tuition. They are invented planning results, not an actual school’s performance or a promise that Arete will produce the same improvement.
